James Maloney has been in full-time ministry for over thirty years, traveling extensively across the United States and abroad in more than 40 countries, averaging 250-300 services yearly. In America, he speaks in healing and prophetic seminars, teaching the mechanics of ministry anointing release, and in leadership conferences, ministering to hundreds of pastors. He preaches in many local and regional church conferences, hosting schools of the supernatural, helping to equip the people of God in a release of the miraculous so they can extend the rule of His Kingdom in their own communities. He has made numerous media appearances on Christian television programs and radio shows.

As a revivalist, his work is marked with an apostolic/prophetic anointing for the release of God’s power. In his revival conferences, one of his main messages is the release of the glory, drawing people into encounters with a mighty God. Ministering in a prophetic flow, he has spoken the personal word of the Lord to thousands individually, producing a greater sense of identity, motivation and clarity of direction. Operating in the revelation gifts of the Spirit, physical conditions are revealed, creating faith to receive healing.

 The conversation articulates something I have seen running rampad through our society as many of us look for mentors and heroes to follow.  What is it that spurs us on?  Why are we driven to find people we can look up to?  Its natural.  All of us do it.  We search high and low in every arena of life looking for the "one" that will show us "it can be done." Weve heard enough speeches, read enough tales of what could be, should be or even was.  Life is always pointing to another time, another era, another generation that did it right or did it wrong.  So we learn from history, we learn what to do, what not to do, how to think and even how to dream.  Yet, nothing seems to be able to alleviate the gaping crater found in our soul.  This crater is screaming out, "will someone please show me it can be done?  Not...it has been done....or it will be done.  I want to see it 'being done'!  

And so, the hero.  The hero we've been looking for is finally found.  We have different names for them.  Some call them mentors, others "spiritual fathers or mothers", guidance counselors, ministers, coaches....the list goes on.  All seem to have one thing in common...each are sought after to show us "it can be done!"  This drive to find someone we can look up to.  There are multiple healthy expressions of such a relationship.  For instance, imagine you are having a very difficult time in your marraige.  You might look for a counselor to help you out.  Yet, the most powerful tool you could ever aquire is having a couple who have a healthy marraige to spend time with.  Nothing takes the place of real life experiences with people who have dominion over the very thing we are fighting for.  And this is what our generation is thirsting for....someone to look up to, someone who has done it not just talked about it.  So, the search begins.  But for many of us the search has led us down several different paths of heartache, triumph, blood..sweat and tears, and bonding beyond any imagination of what is possible.  So what is it that leads us down these paths?  What dictates how our story will end, or even better, how it is going? 

¹ Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. ² Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda^[a] and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. ³ Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. ^[4] [b] 5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. ⁶ When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

 ⁷ “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”

 ⁸ Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” ⁹ At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

38 years of being an invalid. Jesus demands the man to do what he couldn't do. No sympathy. No long conversation. Just a simple invitation BE HEALED! But because Jesus was the one inviting............

A short conversation that had a powerful outcome!

Isaac and the Wells:

 
1.  Inheritance can't be earned but it can be discovered.  Inheritance undiscovered is inheritance unused.

2.  Everyone must have their own personal victories and relationship with God.

3.  Everyone needs to be able to feed off of their "father's" victories as well.

 
4.  Generational momentum is created when we readily receive what we did not pay for and at the same time pay the price for increase.

5.  The breakthrough we are looking for could be hidden in wells we didn't dig.
